Halloween Parade
Dress in your best costume and march in the Halloween Parade in October, sponsored by the Women’s Club. Don’t have a trick-or-treater in your house? Host a themed trunk! Dress your pet, bring the family and a large bag that will be filled with goodies! Prizes are awarded for best costume, pet, trunk, and many, many more! Saturday, October 27, 2024

New in 2024, the Women’s Club will now host the Community 4th of July celebration at the pool!

Kindergarten Social
Sponsored by the Women’s Club, this event allows your rising Kindergartener to meet other friends their age. These kiddos may be headed to JB Watkins, or they may be going to a private school or starting home-school. Either way, they are all about to embark on an incredible milestone! Use this opportunity to find out who else is experiencing the same excitement (or nerves) as you! Popsicles are served during this fun gathering of the next generation on the playground. Join us for popsicles, story-telling, and time to run around and play at the Walton Park playground on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
Adult Luau
A highly anticipated event every July, sponsored by the Women’s Club, has parents calling the sitter so they can enjoy a night out at the pool! Bring a side dish to share and your favorite beverage. Smoked pork and chicken are provided. Bring your swimsuit or not and enjoy the pool without hearing “Mommy, Daddy, Mommy, Daddy!” Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 7pm.
Santa Breakfast
Eat breakfast with Santa! Sponsored by the Women’s Club, this annual tradition is full of holiday cheer! Pancakes, sausage, fruit, hot cocoa (coffee for the parents) fill your belly as you express your creative side with arts and crafts! A special arrival leads to priceless photographs and a lifetime of memories. This event requires a small admission fee and advanced registration. Tacky Light Run
This 6k course shows off Midlothian’s best display of tacky lights—you just wait! You’ll see dozens of homes with over-the-top tacky lights in the Walton Park neighborhood, including the famous Dawnridge Ct. Run (or walk) with thousands of other nice-listers and find out the true meaning of holiday spirit. Make sure to bring your smartphones because you’ll be snapping tons of photos while you’re out there… Even shameless selfies. Don’t worry, we won’t judge. So dust off your ugliest holiday sweater, find anything you can that lights up or glows, hang your stockings by the chimney with care, and get your milk and cookies ready because Santa is coming early this year!
